You can delete pictures you do not need.
Close the lens barrier, press
the LCD monitor ON/OFF
button and display the picture
you want to erase.
Press the Erase button to
display the screen shown.
Select YES using the +/–
buttons, then press the OK
button.
One-Frame erase is also
available in the Index-Display
mode. (p. 74)
See page 82 for All-Frame
erase.
It may take a while to perform
One-Frame erase when Card-
Print has been set for the card.

Caution:
Never open the card cover, eject the card, remove the batteries, or
pull the plug while erasing pictures. It may destroy the data in the
card.
When the picture is protected or the write-protect adhesive seal is
placed on the card, the camera does not enter the Erase mode. Either
cancel the protection or remove the seal in order to erase pictures.
(Do not use the seal again.)
