It’s easy to select a mode.
Even easier to enjoy the results.
There will always be times when you’d prefer the camera do the work. Especially when
EVOLT E-500 makes it so simple to capture pixel-perfect images by selecting a mode suited
to your environment.
With the right mode, you can do anything.
For those times (or spur-of-the moment opportunities), EVOLT E-500 presents an array of
pre-set and user-adjustable shooting modes.
There are 15 easy modes where you do nothing more than select the “scene.” Just use the
menu and choose Beach and Snow, Sunset, Portrait, Night Scene, Candlelight, Landscape,
Children and more.
To assume a bit more control, yet still let the camera select the aperture and shutter speed (or
everything), there are six basic modes: Auto, Landscape, Portrait, Night-Scene Portrait, Macro
and Action/Sports.
When you feel like taking complete control, you can do so with EVOLT E-500’s creative modes:
Program (the camera automatically sets lens aperture and shutter speed), Aperture Priority
(you select aperture – the camera sets the appropriate shutter speed for the exposure),
Shutter Priority (you select shutter speed – the camera sets the appropriate aperture for the
exposure) and Manual (where you select shutter speed and aperture).
