SELECTING THE EXPOSURE MODE - MANUAL -
The OM-PC also provides manual exposure con-
trol.
With
the
exposure
mode
dial
set to
MANUAL,
you can choose your desired aperture and shutter
speed combination. You will see the following
display in the viewfinder.
As you adjust the aperture ring, the appropriate
shutter
speed
for the
aperture
you
have
set
will
be
displayed in the viewfinder. Set the shutter speed
dial to that value.
If you are shooting fast moving subjects such as
sports scenes, you may prefer to set your shutter
speed
first.
If so,
then
adjust
your
aperture
until
the preselected shutter speed is indicated in the
viewfinder. This technique is useful when a specific
shutter speed is needed.
Shutter speed of 1 sec. or slower.
Shutter speed indications.
Appropriate figure lights up.
