, the camera will detect people’s faces in the frame and
adjust the focus and metering automatically.
•
In order to use the

[Fn FACE DETECT ]
needs to be set up in the menu in
advance.

while using the

button, the following functions
are automatically set to the best settings for taking pictures of people.

If the camera detects a face, a frame will be
displayed in that location.
•
When you press the shutter button, the camera will focus
on the position of the face detection frame (When
M
is
selected in
[AF AREA]
the camera will focus on that
position).

Notes
•
During sequential shooting, face detection will work only at
the first shot.
•
Depending on the subject, the camera may not be able to
correctly detect the face.
