Mode Selection
The Camedia C-2500L has three modes for you to use: P mode, A mode and M mode. Modes are selected with the mode dial
prior to taking pictures.
Mode Dial
M mode Manual mode
A mode Aperture mode
P mode Program mode
For viewing images on the LCD monitor
For printing out images
For connecting the camera to a personal computer or other
external device
Turn the mode dial clockwise and set it to the desired mode.
The dial is set to "P" in the illustration.

Selecting SmartMedia/
CompactFlash Memory Card
The following procedure explains how to select the media which images are to be stored on. Select media before taking your
pictures.
Set the mode dial to "P", "A" or "M".
Press the [SM/CF] button.
The media displayed on the control panel will change back and forth
between "SM" (SmartMedia) and "CF" (CompactFlash) every time
the button is pressed.
Select the media for storing the images.

NOTE
• If the selected media card is full, "0" and are displayed on the con-
trol panel. If both a SmartMedia card and a CompactFlash memory
card are loaded in the camera, change to the other card using the
[SM/CF] button. Cards cannot be changed automatically. If only one
card is loaded in the camera, change it with a card having sufficient
available space.
