Troubleshooting
Pictures cannot be played back on the monitor.
Possible cause
Pictures are not stored on
the card.
The card error occurs.
Corrective action
NO PICTURE appears on the monitor. Record
pictures.

Playback
No picture is displayed on the TV when connected to the camera.
Corrective action
Connect the cable properly according to the
instructions.
Set the video signal according to the region
where used.
Set the TV to the video input mode.

Possible cause
The video cable is not
connected correctly.
The camera's video output
signal is incorrect.
The TV 's video signal is
incorrect.
Halation produces unnatural colors in the picture.
Possible cause
This may be caused by
excessively bright ultraviolet
light on the subject, such as
sunlight shining through the
leaves or trees, window
frames in bright light at
night, reflection of metal in
direct sunlight, etc.
Corrective action
Use a UV filter. As this may upset the overall
color balance, it should only be used in the
conditions described on the left.
Process the picture using a graphics application
that supports JPEG (Paint Shop Pro, Photoshop,
etc.). For example, after picking up unnatural
colors with a syringe tool, etc. , you can select
color areas, and try color conversion or saturation
adjustment. For details, refer to the manual for the
graphics application you are using.

The top left part of the picture appears too bright.
Possible cause
When shooting at slow
shutter speeds, noise may
be generated due to a rise
in temperature in the CCD
drive circuit.
Corrective action
Set NOISE REDUCTION to ON before taking
pictures.
