You can take advantage of a variety of flash shooting techniques to suit different
shooting conditions with the flash units specified for use with this camera — the
Olympus FL-50, FL-40, and FL-20 electronic flashes.
These flashes communicate with the camera to make available various flash modes,
such as auto-flash, red-eye reduction flash, slow synchronization, and controlled light
emission. The flash can be mounted on the camera by attaching it to the camera’s hot
shoe. You can also mount the flash on the specified flash bracket using the bracket
cable (optional).
