Lets you erase recorded images. You can select single-frame erase, which erases only the
currently displayed image; all-frame erase, which erases all the images stored on the card; or
selected frame erase, which erases only the frames selected.

Notes
When you perform all-frame or selected frame erase on images recorded using RAW+JPEG, both
the RAW and JPEG images are erased. When using single-frame erase, you can select whether to
erase the JPEG, RAW, or both RAW and JPEG images.

Protected images cannot be erased. Cancel protected images, then erase them.
Once erased, images cannot be restored.

Single-frame erase

Play back the image you want to erase and press
the
S
button.

Use

to select [YES], then press the

button.
Erasing selected frames
This function lets you erase selected images at one time during single-frame playback or index
display.

Display the images you want to erase and press the
i
button.
The selected images will be shown with red frames.
To cancel your selection, press the
i
button again.
During index display, press
p
to select the images you want to erase and press the
i
button.

to display the next images you want to erase and press the

button.

After you have selected the images to erase, press the

button.
