Sharpness
(Avoiding Sharp Silhouettes)
Under ordinary shooting conditions, the subject's silhouette will be shot
in a sharp, clearly-defined manner. Ordinarily, this is fine.
However, when processing images on a computer, there may be times
when a sharp silhouette on an image is not desirable. In such cases,
change the sharpness setting to “SOFT”.
For details about how to use the menu, see “Using the Shooting
Menu” (p.74).
