Editing operations

Choose the frame that you
want to be the first frame of
your movie picture.
컄 : Moves forward one frame.
컅 : Moves backward one frame.
왕 : Returns to the beginning of
the movie picture.
왓 : Advances to the end of the
movie picture.

Press the OK button.
• The monitor displays the end
frame selection.

Select the frame you want to
be the ending frame of your
movie picture.
컄 : Moves forward one frame.
컅 : Moves backward one
frame.
왕 : Returns to the new first
frame.
왓 : Advances to the end of the
movie picture.

Press the OK button.
• The end frame is determined.

Select how you want to save
the movie picture and press
the OK button.
NEW CREATE 씮 saves it as a
new movie picture.
OVERWRITE 씮 erases the
version before the edit and
saves the new version.
CANCEL 씮 cancels the edit
mode and returns to the
playback menu.
NOTE
• Movie pictures taken with other
digital cameras may not be
edited out.

To Edit Out Excess Frames from
the Beginning or End of a Movie
Picture
(Function)
When shooting movie pictures, in order to avoid errors it is often helpful
to shoot a few extra frames at the beginning and end of a shot (p.90).
These unneeded frames can be edited out.
Before calling up the playback menu, you need to display the portion
with the “ ” mark that you would like to edit.
For details about how to use the menu, see “Using the Playback
Menu” (p.102).

This lets you edit out frames at

picture.
