Menu setting method
Menu setting method
It may take over 10 seconds to complete
processing. Never perform operations
such as the following while processing, as
they may damage the data. In addition,
replace the battery with a new one in
order to ensure that the battery will not
run out while processing.
1 Disconnecting the AC Adapter while
processing.
2 Removing the battery while
processing.
3 Remove the microSD card during
processing when [microSD Card] is
being used as the recording media.
Formatting on the recorder will be
Quick Format. If you format the microSD
card, information of file management
is refreshed and the data inside the
microSD card is not deleted completely.
When handing over and disposing the
microSD card, be careful about the
data leakage from the microSD card.
We recommend the microSD card to be
destroyed when you dispose the microSD
card.
If the recorder is formatted ( P. 77), the
starting/closing tune data will also be
erased, and the starting tune and closing
tune will not be played. If you want to
recover the starting/closing tune data,
connect to the PC and copy the default
sound data to the recorder by using the
supplied “Olympus Sonority” ( P.86).
If the recorder is formatted ( P. 77), the
alarm sound data will also be erased. The
alarm playback function is available but
the alarm sounds [Alarm 1] [Alarm 2]
[Alarm 3] in [Alarm Sound] will all have
the same sound. At this stage, the alarm
sounds will be different from the pre-set
ones. If you want to recover the alarm
sound data, connect to the PC and copy
the default sound data to the recorder by
using the supplied “Olympus Sonority
( P. 86).
For DM-670:
If you format the recorder ( P.77), voice
guide data will be erased as well. If you
want to recover the voice guide data,
connect to a PC and copy the guide data
to the recorder by using the supplied
“Olympus Sonority” ( P.86).
