Press the shutter button to start shooting.
• For [}], [;], and [/], the shutter button is also available to shoot
movies unlike normal movie recording.
• In [,], press the shutter button to start shooting a series of frames.
During shooting, the indicator lamp flashes.
When using a camera with a CMOS image sensor, moving objects may
appear distorted due to the rolling shutter phenomenon.
This is a physical phenomenon whereby distortion occurs in the filmed
image when shooting a fast-moving subject or due to camera shaking. In
particular, this phenomenon becomes more noticeable when using a long
focal length.

Press the shutter button again to stop shooting.
When the camera exceeds the limit for continuous shooting, it
automatically stops shooting. g “Number of storable pictures (still
images)/Recording length (movies) in the internal memory and cards”

Set the [Repeat Rec] (P. 66) to [Yes] to automatically extend the shooting
time.
• Pressing A in the shooting screen fixes the focus distance (AF lock). Press
A again to cancel the lock.
After you assigned [z Shoot Photo] in [Button Function] (P. 65), pressing the
assigned button takes pictures by an equivalent setting to O [C].
To shoot a normal movie in [,], assign [

Rec. Movie] to the button in
advance.
